Photoduplication Service

Copying services

The National Diet Library provides copying services within the limits of the "Copyright Law" and "The National Diet Library Rules Concerning the Use of Library Materials" so as not to infringe the rights of the copyright holders.

  • * You can only have the materials held by the NDL and some Electronic Journals provided at the NDL copied for the purpose of study or research.
  • * Only one copy of a portion of the material (in principle, up to half of copyrighted material) by only one copying method. (Note: This rule does not apply when the copyright has expired or the copyright holder has given approval for copying.)

The following types are available in the Kansai-kan.

Please note that the service hours vary for each type of service.

* Depending on the condition of the materials, the Kansai-kan may specify a copying method.
