第89回IFLA年次大会（2025年8月）

2025年8月18日から22日にかけて、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）年次大会が、「知識を結集し、未来を築く」（“Uniting Knowledge, Building the Future”）をテーマとしてカザフスタンのアスタナで開催されました。

8月19日に開催されたPACの会合では、IFLA本部や出席した各PACセンターからの活動報告、そして質疑応答や意見交換が行われました。
IFLA本部から、各PACセンターが事前に提出していた活動報告を取りまとめた報告が行われました。そこでは、世界の図書館コミュニティ全体にとって関心の高い資料保存分野のテーマとして、次の点が挙げられました。

  • 緊急事態への備え：気候関連リスクと自然災害への備え
  • 気候変動：文化遺産コレクションに対する環境的脅威の増大への対応
  • デジタル保存：デジタル遺産のインフラや標準規格の整備、長期的なアクセスの実現
  • 能力開発：研修・ワークショップ等による専門能力の開発
  • 先住民族の遺産：先住民族の文化遺産の保存と尊重に向けた取組
  • 違法取引：文化財の違法取引への取組

この会合では、これらの世界的に共通するテーマへの対応に当たって、PACセンターのネットワークはもとより、より広範なネットワークとの連携協力が有意義であるとの認識を共有しました。

2023年8月21日から25日にかけて、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）年次大会が、「力を合わせよう、図書館しよう」（“Let’s work together, Let’s Library”）をテーマとしてオランダのロッテルダムで開催されました。

第87回IFLA年次大会（2022年7月）

2022年7月26日から29日にかけて、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）年次大会が、「啓発し、参加させ、可能性を与え、つなげる」（“Inspire, Engage, Enable, Connect”）をテーマとしてアイルランドのダブリンで開催されました。

日中韓IFLA PACセンター長会議（2021年11月）

2021年11月11日、東アジアの3つのIFLA PAC地域センターであるIFLA-PAC中国センター（中国国家図書館）外部サイト、IFLA PAC韓国センター（韓国国立中央図書館）外部サイト及びIFLA/PACアジア地域センター（国立国会図書館）の各センター長による日中韓IFLA PACセンター長会議が開催されました。IFLA/PACアジア地域センターが呼びかけて、オンライン形式で行われました。

新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響により、海外関係者との直接交流は困難な状況ですが、関係が深く時差が小さい3つのセンターがオンライン会議によって情報交換を行い、協力関係を強化しました。

この会議では、各センターが近年の活動内容を報告しました。IFLA-PAC中国センターからは、古典籍の修復、中華古典籍資源データベース等の構築、修復のための人材育成等について報告がありました。IFLA PAC韓国センターからは、所蔵するLP等視聴覚資料のアナログ媒体やFD等のデジタル媒体の保存処理等についての報告がありました。IFLA/PACアジア地域センターは、防災のための当館の施設・設備、所蔵資料の防災対策、資料保存に関する近年の協力活動について報告しました。また、酸性紙の脱酸性化処理、古典籍の保存に関する協力活動、資料保存に関する研修についての意見交換が行われました。

2021年8月17日から19日にかけて、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）年次大会が、「未来のために一緒に働こう」（“Let’s work together for the future”）をテーマとしてオンラインで開催されました。
