Dewa Sanzan (Three Mountains of Dewa)

Dewa Sanzan (Three Mountains of Dewa) is the collective name for Mt. Haguro, Mt. Gassan and Mt. Yudono. The Haguro five-story pagoda, which stands beside the approach to the Dewa Sanzan Shrine, was built in the early Muromachi period and is designated as a National Treasure.
