Naha
Naha is located in the southern part of the main island of Okinawa, facing the East China Sea. Naha was the capital of the Ryukyu Dynasty and flourished as a commercial center for overseas trade. Since the Meiji period, Naha became the prefectural capital and the political, economic and cultural center of Okinawa.
