Dazaifu
Dazaifu Tenman Shrine was built in 919 over the grave of SUGAWARA Michizane, who was demoted to Dazaifu during the Heian period and ended his life here. The current main shrine was rebuilt in 1591 and is designated as an Important Cultural Property.
