NISHIKAWA Sukenobu kodai bijingafu (NISHIKAWA Sukenobu paintings of ancient beauties)

This is a collection of paintings of beautiful women by NISHIKAWA Sukenobu (1671-1750), an ukiyo-e artist in Kyoto in the mid-Edo period who excelled at painting beautiful women by hand. It depicts women playing the koto (Japanese harp) and shamisen (three-stringed Japanese musical instrument) and enjoying their outings. Published in 1913.
