NDL bibliographic data is available free of charge from various web services. Please see "Terms of Use of Contents of the National Diet Library's Website".

The Japanese National Bibliography comprises standard bibliographic data for Japanese publications acquired via the legal deposit system as well as Japanese publications and foreign publications in Japanese acquired through donation, purchase, or other means. The National Diet Library makes Japanese National Bibliography records available from a number of sources to promote new publications promptly and widely.
