Description

Adopted by the Akaboshi family, between 1877 and 1887 he started to build a pier at Kobe Port with GODAI Tomoatsu and others. His relatives include KABAYAMA Sukenori, who was involved in the founding of the Imperial Japanese Navy, and SAIGO Tsugumichi. Thanks to that, he made a huge profit by receiving the patent to set up cannons on warships. Along with other businesses such as money lending, Yanosuke built a massive fortune and began collecting antique paintings and tea utensils. He studied Urasenke school tea ceremony under SEN Soshitsu(13th En-no-sai).
