Description

Novelist. She attended the Kyoritsu Joshi Shokugyo Gakko school (later, Kyoritsu Women's University) and studied under Yamada Bimyo, who was a member of Kenyu-sha and hosted the magazine Iratsume. In 1895 she published Igaku Shugyo (Medical Training) in the magazine Bungei Kurabu and was recognized in the literary world. She married Yamada the same year but they divorced in three months. She continued writing but passed away at the age of 23 in 1896. The unfinished Godaido was her last novel.
