Reference books on music and audio-visual materials as well as catalogs published by recording companies are on the open access shelves. Materials requiring special permission for use ・ Audio recordings (phonograph records, cassette tapes, CDs, etc.) ・ Video recordings (VHS, LD, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) ・ Music manuscripts and documents ・ TV and radio scripts up to 1980 ・ Some materials out of the Eiryo Ashihara Collection (records and performance programs, etc.) Materials not requiring special permission for use (with some exceptions) ・ Musical scores ・ Electronic publications (CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, etc.) ・ Books that include electronic media ・ Materials on the open shelves (reference books on music and audio-visual materials, catalogs published by recording companies) |

In principle, photoduplication of record jackets, liner notes, and lyric sheets requires written permission of the copyright holder. Please consult our staff.
