Book covers and interior illustrations by TAKEHISA Yumeji

These are covers and illustrations by the artist and poet TAKEHISA Yumeji (1884–1934), who gained immense popularity with his "Yumeji-shiki bijin" (Yumeji-style beauty). He designed covers for magazines such as Mitsukoshi and Fujin graph (featured on the NDL Image Bank page "Yumeji-style beauty") and produced illustrations for novels and children's stories. He also illustrated stories he wrote himself, including Haru (Spring) and Tako: Takehisa Yumeji doyo shu (Kites: TAKEHISA Yumeji's collection of children's songs).
