The National Diet Library has made roughly 280,000 items (ZIP: 14MB, Japanese only) from the National Diet Library Digital Collections newly available via the Digitized Contents Transmission Service, as detailed below.

| Doctoral Dissertations | 8,000 | Doctoral dissertations received by the NDL from Japanese universities in 1987 (partial). |
These materials are available via [the Digitized Contents Transmission Service for Libraries](https://www.ndl.go.jp/en/library/dcts/inde x.html) and for Individuals. There are now 2,320,000 items available via the Digitized Contents Transmission Service.
Please note that most of these materials will not appear in full-text search results. We plan to make these materials searchable by generating text data using OCR at some point in the future.
