Frequently asked questions
Please ask for a certificate after visiting the Library.
An application for copying services will be required in order to create a certificate. A fee willbe charged for this.
Please ask our staff members before applying to print the National Diet Library's digitized materials.
Please inquire about procedures with staff located at the various counters or in the Special MaterialsRooms.
The certificate will be issued two weeks after the application was accepted.
You will have to visit the Library in person once more to receive your certificate.
The Library does not issue letters of introduction to other libraries. If you need a letter ofintroduction in order to use materials from the collection of a university library or specialized organization,please consult a public library in your area or the school library to which you belong.
