The Japanese National Bibliography (JNB)

The JNB consists of the standard bibliographic data of Japanese publications that are acquired and cataloged by the NDL.

The JNB includes more than 95% of all publications available commercially in Japan.

It also includes numerous publications from the national and municipal governments, which have limited public circulation.

In-process records become searchable in the NDL-OPAC about four days after acquisition and are usually complete within one month.
