On March 30, 1994, the Nanpaku Nokyo Chuokai (South Brazil Central Committee of Agricultural Cooperatives) voluntarily dissolved due to poor business performance, and the Nanbei Ginko (Bank of South America), which had existed since the prewar era, was abesorbed by the Italian Sudameris Bank on September 30 of the same year.
