In the Business, Science and Technology Room, reference books on science and technology (encyclopedias, directories, etc.), abstracts and indexes, data books, are available on open access. Reference books on business and social science (company lists, statistics, annuals, dictionaries, etc.) are also available on open access. Materials such as applications for permission for nuclear reactor installation (alteration), "Archives for the History of Quantum Physics" can be requested at the counter. |

- No special registration is required to use the room.
- Materials are to be used only in the room, except when brought out
- Permission is required to use "Archives for the History of Quantum Physics".
- By the policy of the IAEA, materials of the INIS (atomindex, including data bases) are available only to nationals of the INIS member countries (including Japan) and staff of international organizations that participate in the INIS. For details, please ask at the counter.

All materials on open shelves and parts of abstract journals in closed stacks can be photocopied by same-day service only, because of frequent use.
Application for special permission is required to photoduplicate the "Archives for the History of Quantum Physics"
