Information on the Internet:

The length of time for a user to occupy an Internet terminal is limited. Printout is not available.

1. For material and machinery protection, eating and drinking are strictly prohibited in the room.
2. Material handed at the counter must not be taken out of the room, except when brought out to be photocopied.
   Otherwise, please use the material at the designated area in the room.
3. To use electronic resources, only the devices provided in the room are available.
4. Some materials may not be available for technical reasons.
5. Since the number of terminals is limited, when the seats are full, users may be asked to wait.
6. There are reading and copying restrictions on some materials. To use/copy these, users must submit a required application form filled in with the objective and theme of the research.
7. Staffs at the counter may ask those users who occupy seats for a long time to give up seats to other users.
8. It is prohibited to download data from electronic resources (CD-ROM, etc.).

Services for books photocopy and printout from electronic resources are as follows. All copying must be within the limit stipulated in the Copyright Law of Japan.

Books photocopy:

Same-day photoduplication and regular photoduplication are available.

Printout from electronic resources:

Same-day photoduplication only. A4 size 20 pages /title.
*Some electronic resources are not available for printout service due to their contents.

Printout from resources available through the Library (electronic journals, etc.):

Same-day photoduplication only. 100 pages / application.
*Some contents have restrictions on printout, according to the agreement with the publisher.
*Printout from Internet terminals is not available.
*Sound recordings cannot be duplicated.
