To use rare books and semi-rare books, you need to submit an application in advance. We cannot accept walk-in applications for same day use.
Advance reservation is needed to use the originals on Saturdays. (Advance reservation is not required to use microforms and digitized materials)

Announcement	Permission is required to use the room. Only for official study or research, or academic study or research. Please fill in application form with objective and theme of the research and submit it at the counter. Rare books and semi-rare books are available by advance application only. Materials already microfilmed or digitized are available only in microform or digitized form to preserve the originals. Pencils only are to be used. Erasers are not to be used.
Photoduplication	Special permission for photoduplication is required. Originals can be photoduplicated only by microfilming (requires 3 working days) or by print from microfilms (requires 6 working days).
