New digitized contents of the NDL’s collections added to the NDL digital archive system in April/May 2012
Newly digitized contents of the NDL’s collections were added to the NDL digital archive system in April/May 2012. As a result, in total, digital images of more than 2,000,000 items are available inside the NDL, and about 400,000 of them are also provided on the Internet.

In addition, in May 2012, the “Digital Library from the Meiji Era” was integrated into the new digital archive 3.
In the integrated “Digital Library from the Meiji Era,” you can search and see contents open to public on the Internet out of the digitized NDL collection from the Meiji Era. For more information about the new services, check our website on http://kindai.ndl.go.jp/ (Japanese only).
