From 6 January 2012, bibliographic data of Asian language materials, once searchable only in the Asian Language Materials OPAC, started to be provided in NDL-OPAC. It is now possible to request copies or reserve materials for reading on-site in the Kansai-kan via the Internet, using NDL-OPAC (Japanese version only) with your registered ID and password.

You can search the following Asian language materials in NDL-OPAC.

• Asian language books acquired from 1986
• Asian language books (except Chinese and Korean) acquired up to 1985
• Asian language periodicals such as the yearbooks, serials and newspapers

It is not possible to search Chinese and Korean language books acquired up to 1985 and Burmese books in NDL-OPAC.
