The 12th Mutual Visit Program between
the National Diet Library and
the National Library of Korea
held in November 2009
The 12th mutual visit program of the National Diet Library (NDL) and the National Library of Korea (NLK) was held in Seoul from November 2 to 9, 2009. Headed by Mr. Takehiko Sato, Director of the Digital Library Division, Kansai-kan of the National Diet Library, the delegation consisted of the following other members: Mr. Akihiro Kawanishi, Assistant Director, Digital Information Planning Office, Administrative Department, Ms. Atsuko Ito, Assistant Director, Book Service Division, Public Services Department, and Ms. Yoshimi Amino, Resources and Information Division, International Library of Children's Literature.
Seminar I
The main theme of this year's program was Contents and Services of Digital Libraries. Seminar I with keynote speeches and Seminar II under the main theme were held at the NLKs national digital library (dibrary) which was opened in May 2009. In addition, an exchange program on both libraries services for children and other related activities was held at the National Library for Children and Young Adults and Ms. Amino attended.

The delegation also visited the National Library for Children and Young Adults of NLK,
as well as the National Assembly Library and other related institutions.
