217,844 entries include Japanese books published in Japan from 1924 to March 1949, books published abroad by Japanese organizations. Some books written in Chinese and Korean.

In principle, data is based on the Imperial Library Catalog.

Many pamphlets held by the Imperial Library have been newly catalogued. The Imperial Library divided the materials they acquired into three classes: Ko, Otsu, and Hei. The library fully catalogued only Ko materials. Otsu materials, being considered less important, were catalogued in short form and lay idle in the stacks for a long time. This new catalog includes full data of 69,000 Otsu materials.
