2013-1-16 Great East Japan Earthquake Archive (beta version) now has new functions added
The NDL is developing the Great East Japan Earthquake Archive to preserve records of the disaster and to promote universal access to them.
The Great East Japan Earthquake Archive (beta version) is back with new functions.

The new functions are as follows:
- Contents introduction on the top page
- One-click search function for photographs and sound / moving images
- Search function by category (material type, database, location and date)
Newly added data include moving images by the National Diet of Japan, Fukushima Nuclear Accident Independent Investigation Commission, bibliographic data about 1995 Kobe Earthquake, Japan, by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Disaster Materials Collection in Kobe University Library.

The Great East Japan Earthquake Archive (beta version) is available from January 10 to February 1, 2013.
It will be officially launched with more contents and functions in March 2013.
