On November 9, 2012, the National Diet Library (NDL) will hold an international symposium "Library Service and e-Strategy" (Japanese) to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Kansai-kan of the NDL. The guest speaker will be Dr. Sean Martin, Head of Architecture & Development, e-Strategy and Information Systems, from the British Library.
The symposium will take place at the Kansai-kan of the NDL, and will start at 13:30. Simultaneous interpretation (Japanese-English) will be provided. The NDL apologizes for an error that occurred in posters and a couple of mail magazines, which announced the starting time as 13:00 by mistake.
