On May 7, the Digital Library from the Meiji Era will be integrated into the National Diet Library Digitized Contents. The content of the service will be changed.

Among various materials digitized by the NDL, the new Digital Library from the Meiji Era will provide access to books and periodicals published in and after 1868. The books and periodicals whose images are only accessible within the facilities of the NDL will also be excluded from the scope of new Digital Library from the Meiji Era.
