On January 4, the National Diet Library launched a trial service to deliver sound resources contained in the Historical Recordings Collection (Japanese) to public libraries.
With the launch of this service, all the contents of the Historical Recordings Collection will become accessible on the premises of the participating public libraries. The libraries will start provision of sound resources on their site as soon as they have prepared the necessary initial arrangements.
