2011-8-11 Printouts from digital data expanded in copying service by postal mail
On July 4, the National Diet Library changed the way it supplies copying service by postal mail in the case of digitized Japanese books published right after the War and for Japanese magazines.
From that day on, printouts from digital data on ordinary paper have been supplied to preserve the original materials. Up to that date, we had supplied copies made directly from original materials or from microfilms.
For copying fees, fees for "Printouts of electronic material" are applied.
The name of the National Diet Library and the print date are printed at the bottom right of the printouts in order to specify the supplier.
