2011-6-1 More than 500,000 volumes have become available in the "Digital Library from the Meiji Era" (Japanese).
On June 1(Wed.), the NDL added newly digitized volumes to the "Digital Library from the Meiji Era" to be viewed only within the Tokyo Main Library and the Kansai-kan of the NDL.
Newly added are about 47,000 volumes whose copyright is still uncleared. In all, more than 500,000 volumes are available for viewing on the premises.
