2011-4-27 About 77,000 volumes have been added to the "Digital Library from the Meiji Era" to be seen only on the premises.

On Apr 27, the NDL added new volumes to the "Digital Library from the Meiji Era" to be viewed only within the Tokyo Main Library and the Kansai-kan of the NDL. This had been scheduled to be finished in February.
Newly added are about 77,000 volumes whose copyright is still uncleared. In all, about 467,000 volumes are available for viewing on the premises.
