On February 1, the "Digital Library of Children's Literature" will be integrated into the "Digital Library from the Meiji Era ." With this integration, about 172,000 volumes published in the Meiji, Taisho and Early Showa eras, including children's literature published up to about 1955, will be available in the "Digital Library from the Meiji Era."

Moreover, about 77,000 volumes whose copyright is still uncleared will be added to the service to be seen only within the Tokyo Main Library and the Kansai-kan of the NDL.

In total about 467,000 volumes will be available in the "Digital Library from the Meiji Era."
