Commemorating the National Year of Reading, on October 20 (Wed.), the National Diet Library will hold a symposium: What is Reading?
Through the keynote speech of Prof. Seigo Matsuoka and the panel discussion by Prof. Atsuhiko Wada, Prof. Daiya Hashimoto and Prof. Taku Sugimoto, various disputed points of reading such as the characteristics of reading in Japan or the way of reading in this digital-era will be presented.
