2010-9-10 ILCL exhibition "The Golden Age of the Picture Book: 1920s & 1930s - History's Message to Children"

From September 18th, The International Library of Children's Literature will hold an exhibition "The Golden Age of the Picture Book: 1920s & 1930s - History's Message to Children" commemorating its 10th anniversary and the National Year of Reading.
The 1920s and 1930s, when many outstanding picture books were published around the world, are called the "Golden Age of Picture Books."
This exhibition displays about 220 items, mainly American and Soviet picture books, which have not previously been seen very much in Japan.
