2010-7-15 The 17th Tokyo International Book Fair has finished
From July 8 to 11, the National Diet Library participated in the 17th Tokyo International Book Fair.
At our booth, we presented our activities with panels, pamphlets and mini-presentations. On 8 and 9, when the main visitors were professionals within the publishing industry, we explained our roles focusing on the Legal Deposit System and mass digitization of collections and on 10 and 11 the International Library of Children’s Literature was presented to the wide public. On July 9, Dr. Makoto Nagao, Librarian of the NDL, gave a talk at our booth on the digitization of materials.
