From July 9 to 12, the National Diet Library participated in the 16th Tokyo International Book Fair.
At our booth, we showed with panels that materials acquired by the Legal Deposit System are used widely and preserved for hundreds of years as our collections. The tools for conservation (Japanese paper, brushes, starch paste and phase box) were exhibited so that visitors could actually touch them. We also presented the International Library of Children's Literature as the national center of children's books by distributing pamphlets. Thank you for coming.
