A new electronic exhibition "100 anos de imigração japonesa no Brasil" will be released on March 4th (Portuguese and Japanese). The history of Japanese immigration to Brazil is illustrated in seven chapters in chronological order with about 200 items mainly from our collection: primary materials such as photographs, documents and letters, and newspaper articles, books, motion pictures, etc. with commentary and informative columns, e.g. "Kasato-maru," "Japanese immigrants and coffee." Materials are digitized in images; primary materials and newspaper articles are also displayed in text format.
