From November 7th to 9th, Library Fair 2007 was held at the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall. The National Diet Library had a stand depicting stack rooms to introduce its services and demonstrate the contents of its website to the visitors. On November 7th, Mr. Akira NAGAE, a writer, spoke on the library from a writer’s perspective with the title, “I have visited the largest library in Japan” in the forum on public services of the library; the details will be reported in the February 2008 issue of the National Diet Library Bulletin. On November 8th, a presentation “Library on a desktop: introduction of reference tools by the National Diet Library on the Internet” was given to the audience.
