International Policy Seminar "Toward Establishing a Sustainable Society"

The National Diet Library invites you to attend the keynote speech by Ms. Anita Linell and panel discussion, under the theme of the International Policy Seminar, "Toward Establishing a Sustainable Society."
Ms. Linell was the project leader of "Sweden in the 2021" when she was on the staff of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. The project shows a future vision for a sustainable society in Sweden.
In her keynote speech, Ms. Linell will give a summary of the project and talk about the current situation and future vision of Swedish activities and efforts. It will be a good opportunity for us to contemplate what policies Japan needs to take for the future. After the speech, four panelists will have a discussion moderated by Prof. Osamu Abe, a visiting researcher at the National Diet Library.
