For the first time in IFLA WLIC history, a caucus on the ASEAN region will be held in Singapore during the 79th General Conference and Assembly. This ASEAN Caucus with the theme, Community Across Borders, will host conversations on regional initiatives to encourage greater use and awareness of the region’s rich content, and also foster higher levels of regional unity. The speakers include Mr Gene Tan, Director of National Library of Singapore and Mr Andy Neale, Head of DigitalNZ at National Library of New Zealand.

Do join us on 17 August 2013, 4.30pm - 5.30pm for the ASEAN Caucus. Gain new insights into the region’s library developments, and network with ASEAN librarians at the reception which will be held from 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
