National Library of Singapore Conference 2005 – Celebrating Knowledge National Library Board, Singapore

In conjunction with the official opening of the National Library in November this year, the National Library Board of Singapore is organizing a 2-day international conference on 14 and 15 November.

Aptly named "Celebrating Knowledge", this upcoming conference is part of a series of programmes lined up to celebrate the opening of a new national knowledge and learning icon in Singapore.

Key industry players from across the globe will engage and share with participants a wide array of pertinent issues on digital content, library architecture, the evolving digital culture, the new professionalism, and business collaborations.

The range of topics reinforces the conference's aim to bring together a broad spectrum of practitioners from within the industry and beyond to exchange new ideas and experiences and to forge new international partnerships.
