We received an e-mail on February 22 informing us that the Directorate of Archives and Libraries, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, has opened its website.

This website provides plentiful information on the organizations and services of the National Archives and the National Library of Bangladesh, with numerous beautiful images.

We have received answers to the 2nd questionnaire on the CDNLAO Newsletter from Bangladesh and Brunei Darussalam since we published the interim report in the previous issue.

Again, we thank all the national libraries that completed the questionnaire and returned it to us. We will use these answers and comments in editing the Newsletter to make it more useful to the member libraries. We will also welcome any additional comments concerning the questionnaire.

To member libraries of the CDNLAO: 

"Networking among libraries" is featured in this issue. 

The special topic of the next issue (No. 50, July 2004) will be "Training programs for librarians." We would appreciate your contributions on any activities or programs for training of librarians carried out or coordinated by your library.
