CDNLAO 8 Resolutions
(April 2000)
-
Members should continue to support CDNLAO website
by provision of materials for website publication.
-
National Diet Library would continue publications
and digitization of the CDNLAO newsletter until 2001.
-
Future submission of country reports would cover
only updates on the general library scene in the country and not just the
National Libraries. Country profiles would also be included as part of
the packaging, including contact listings.
-
A standard template will be issued to each member
country to reformat their country submissions. This will also include guidelines
on format structure to be used. These reports, submissions and proceedings
will be edited and published for distribution.
-
Singapore will continue Secretariat duties until
the next meeting is convened. It is agreed that the host country of subsequent
CDNLAO conferences and meetings will hold on to the Secretariat portfolio
until it is handed over the next host. The secretariat will hold responsibilities
to ensure that resolutions made will be carried out.
-
CDNLAO will continue in its present structure. Countries
which do not have a formal National Library but have libraries performing
National library functions may be recommended for inclusions to future
CDNLAO meetings.
