Priority Objectives for FY2008 and their Evaluation

The NDL sets Priority Objectives every fiscal year for projects we put particular emphasis to achieve the “Vision for the NDL’s 60th anniversary”. We assess the progress and achievement in each objective and publish the results of the evaluation in the following fiscal year.

The following are considered in the evaluation for FY2008:

Progress

Evaluate and grade into three ranks according to the extent of progress of each project set to attain the priority objectives, compared with our plan of FY2008:

Progress as planned, Progress as planned,
Less progress than planned, Less progress than planned,
No progress No progress

Achievement

Levels of service improvement for users were evaluated into the following four grades. Criteria for evaluation is if they have become more used or acquired greater user satisfaction, as a result of promotion of a project.

Achieved sufficiently Achieved sufficiently
Achieved to some extent Achieved to some extent
Achieved little Achieved little
Achieved nothing Achieved nothing
