The Diet session proceedings search system is provided by the National Diet Library with cooperation from the House of Councilors and the House of Representatives. At present, information on Diet session proceedings from the 126th session (January, 1993) and thereafter can be searched. Search can be made under each of the following items: Diet session name, names of speakers, titles, participating factions. Measures are also being taken to cover expansions in the range of committees and searches through past Diet proceedings. With this system, information on Diet proceedings and on question-and-answer sessions can be searched (sections where such things as dates or names of attendants are written).
