NDL to Implement a New Search System in January 2018

The National Diet Library will shut down its Online Public Access Catalog (NDL-OPAC) at the end of December 2017 and implement a new search and request service in January 2018.
Information on how to use the new service, service interruptions, and other notifications related to the switchover will be made available on this page.

About the new services

The NDL plans to launch the National Diet Library Online Search and Request Service (NDL Online) and the National Diet Library Bibliographic Records Service (NDL-Bib) in January 2018. These two services replace the former NDL-OPAC system and each will operate on exclusive servers.
