Opinion of ninshikiha (recognition group) (1)

Kenichi Shimomoto was born in Kochi Prefecture, took a voyage to Brazil with his brother's family in 1914, settled in Cotia Village in 1915, helped establish the Cotia Potato Producers Cooperative (the former name of the Cotia Agricultural Cooperative), was the first chairperson of the cooperative, and managed and directed the business of the Cotia Agricultural Cooperative and contributed to the growth of the cooperative. He directed the recognition movement as one of leaders of the movement immediately after the war. In this essay Shimomoto's opinions were summarized.
